This single-day training event will be held at the training room at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) located at 5019 Imhoff Place in Martinez, CA 94553.
The training will focus on an overview of the primary considerations related to the design and construction of new pipeline installations including planning, utility coordination, material selection, environmental considerations, managing construction changes/schedule, and many more.

Nancy brings over 40 years of experience in infrastructure design and construction. Her primary focus for the last 20 years has been pipeline design including open cut and trenchless construction in both the public and private sector. She is currently a Senior Civil Engineer for Solano Irrigation District providing pipeline design for in-house construction, managing pipeline construction projects built by contractors, development review, CIP management and engineering support for maintenance and operations.
With nearly two decades of experience, Adam is a civil infrastructure design engineer specializing in pipeline design/rehabilitation and civil site design. With broad experience working for both public agencies and private developers, he has prepared plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a variety of projects throughout Northern California and has also assisted with Construction Management and Inspection activities. Adam currently plays a key role in the management of the Water Resources Group at BKF, managing projects and serving clients to help tackle a wide range of technical challenges related to water, sewer, recycled water and stormwater projects.
Mike is a Principal Founder of Tanner Pacific, Inc., specializing in Construction Management of Water Resource Projects. He has over 38 years of experience in public infrastructure project/construction management, as well as, over 15 years of Partnering Facilitation. Having spent his early professional years working for the Cities of Fremont and Palo Alto and at the Union Sanitary District, Mike worked on many different types of projects including, roadway improvements, building renovations, landfill closures and large wastewater treatment plant expansions, just to name a few. Mike has managed many large diameter pipeline projects, totaling more than 30 miles of installed pipe. Ranging in size from 30 in. to 60 in. in diameter, these projects included many miles of open cut, microtunnel, HDD and pipe bursting to traverse under highways, active school sites, active rail lines and sensitive environmental habitats.
